Broughton is a village of 1,000+ people on the A701 six miles east of Biggar and twelve west of Biggar. Ours is a pretty village and the residents take a lot of pride in its appearance. We have a community owned shop, a bistro, a garage and a well used village hall as well as being home to the Broughton Ales brewery.
Our church is on the southern edge of the village on the road towards Moffat. We are a very small congregation but love to welcome visitors and newcomers to the church, both to the church and to annual events that we host in the village hall, such as our Harvest Supper and Guild quiz.
